THE HI-FI COMBO
Germany 1966
As with most groups of the time, from the Beatles on, the German youngsters gave all the British bands - big or small - a great welcome. The Hi-Fi Combo is shown performing live on stage in Luneburg during their two-month tour of Germany in the Spring of 1966 where they worked four cities over a two month tour.
The Star Club in Luneburg, Germany was the venue when this photograph was taken during a performance. The other three cities which the band visited were Schleiswig, Kiel and Dortmund.
[The number playing at the moment "Any Day Now" by Chuck Jackson was an ever present song in our Set back then.]
