SCOTTISH VENUES OF 1966
The Troggs getting mobbed and torn to pieces by well over two fans. I remember those suits well from the time we supported them at Ayr Ice Rink in August 1966.

A kind guy posted these on a social media site which I was a member of and as the site had borrowed my Hi-Fi Combo poster, I borrowed theirs. I have added my own mock-up of the poster of that gig. SCOTTISH VENUES OF 1966
The Hi Fi Combo rehearsed in local halls for a few weeks only and then headed to Cumnock where auditions were being held to select bands who would join the German circuit for a three month tour. The band was successful and whilst awaiting the call to travel to Germany began playing the Scottish circuit of venues which at that time included, as I recall:

* Many of the private clubs would charge male members five shillings for membership while the females were charged only one shilling.
