The Hi-Fi Combo [1965-1966]

 

I just received the sad news tonight, 18th July 2022, that my manager, Jim Finnie, who looked after our band during my two years with The Hi-Fi Combo from 1965 to 1966, died at the weekend. Jim, who worked tirelessly on behalf of our newly formed Scottish soul band, was also instrumental in arranging for the band to be up on stage opening for great British bands of the time such as The Kinks, The Troggs, The Cryin’ Shames, Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band, Chris Farlowe and a host of other great 60’s bands.
